Our Salmon

At Aoraki Smokehouse we use carefully selected premium Chinook Salmon.

We are able to rear and select our salmon through our sister company Benmore Salmon. Situated in the glacial waters of the Aoraki/Mt Cook region, our salmon grow in one of the most pristine natural environments in the world.

Benmore Salmon is the largest producer of fresh water raised salmon in New Zealand. Because of their environment, Benmore produced salmon are exceptionally strong and healthy, low in fat and high in essential Omega 3 oils.

Aoraki’s primary supplier of salmon, Benmore Salmon, facilitates an all year round consistent supply of high quality fresh products.
